taking a sd1 engine to 5.0 liter tvr spec

well just to fill you in on my mission, i have just fitted a rover sd1 high compression enigne into my triuph 2500, i now want to take it to the same spec as my old griffith 500 but i would like to knbow is it easyily possible i.e worth doing all the mods to the engine i have or just got out and get a tvr engine and dump it in?

also would it be in reach to take it to the serpentine spec or just no benifit in this car?
