No - they have to be limited so that their performance isn't too frightening to the real world.............

This reminds me of an episode of 'The 6 million dollar man' when Steve Austin's chubby pal challenged him to a running race... his chubby pal lead the 100 yd slow dash..."Ha I won!" he celebrated. 6 mill man said "yup but who's sweating loads & out of breath?!".

Yeah TVR's are slow, not suprised your allegro slaughtered a Tuscan.

Had a Cerbera a couple of years ago but kept getting done at the lights by old codgers with zimmer frames.

Can't beleive I've ordered another TVR, it's going to happen all over again...oh, the humiliation...

Is it 'national pathetic attempt to wind up TVR drivers week'?? wot with Phil Micock and now Mr Jones?? I suppose it makes a humerous distraction to impending global war.....

Maybe you were getting confused.

The front and rear of a Tuscan could have easily been muddled up in amongst your tyre smoke and it would perfectly acceptible for you to beat a Tuscan reversing into a car park spot on the high street !

Aled,

Would you consider swapping your All aggro for my Chimaera, there'd be cash adjustment of course

How much extra would you want

BTW I think your singing is fantastic

Aled, that is truly amazing mate. So much so, that I am selling the Chimaera, forgetting about the Tuscan S and will plump for an Allagro myself. But only one in Marina orange and with the Van Den Plas grill. A rare beast I know. I wonder if Rob Ingleby could help me source one...
...PS I lived at the back of Longbridge as a kid and blame the paint fumes from when they were making the Allagro in the late-70s for stunting my growth. But what a car. How could those Austin workers have gone on strike so often when they had the mouth-watering prospect of an 8 hour day on the track making that classic piece of British engineering? Or am I getting confused with the Ital?

I think you'll find an Austin Ambassador is just that lit bit quicker thaan the allegro, I've herad of 0-660 in .009 sec can't be bad for £300.
