Armourfend cost??
Discussion
You could drop an email to Mike at the Polishing Company as he was looking into offering it, but not sure how far he got. (Teresa was dealing with some of the market research for him)

I think Armourfend is nearer £500.
I'll try and find the invoice.
I'll try and find the invoice.
Hi Andy, thanks also for that info. Do you have a contact number/email address for a local fitter in the Essex/Suffolk region?
Dave

My receipt says £475.00.
From Armourguard on 01684 593420.
They are based in Worcestershire and did mine in Derbyhire.

My T350 is just over 3 years old now,and is away having a complete front end respray.
I wish i had armourfend fitted when the car was new!!! So does anyone know the cost to do just the front? not wheel arches/mirrors etc.

Dave,
I would try Paintshield. It’s a better product IMHO, has a 4 year warranty and can be removed without taking the paint with it. I have it on my Sag and my Lotus and am very impressed with both the product and the service from the company. Its similar price too.
For thought? TVR recommend the use of Paintshield. They were less than enthusiastic about other products.
Final thought?. Paintshield does not discolour and is less conspicuous than possibly better known alternatives.

Cheers for that!
Dave,
Paintshield can now offer full film from the A posts forward for those that are not keen on the slight finish line the product leaves.
Not sure if they have done your model of TVR yet but you can check with Tom at Paintshield if this is what you are looking for.
We install in Norfolk and Suffolk but can only install the normal size film from Paintshield.

Dave,
We've got Paintshield on the Griff, maybe you hadn't noticed. Fitted in May 05 and was the first Griff done by them. I spent the whole day designing the fit with the guys, leaving around 7.30pm. As has been said TVR recommeded and some bits fitted on the Saggy (I think) and I heard that Armorfend was cut on the car as a final trim to suit so that really put me off.
They are based in Grantham which isn't too far from you. Personally I would get them to do it there if you can get the car there after the respray. Great people and very well looked after while I was there.
Will be at the polo on Sunday if you want a detailed butchers.

Had the wife's S2000 done by Paintshield in Grantham and they were superb. You could give Evolution Valet a ring as they aren't far from you in Norwich. They are approved agents and I hear good reports.
I have seen so many bad armorfend jobs that I just thought that there was too much risk in having to get it redone. Our first car in 2003 was armorfended and that had stretch marks and fingerprints in the adhesive coating so we wont go there again.
Paintshield are very fussy with their agents and if they find one has cut their kits whilst fitting it then that's the last one they ever do!!
