Are TVRs a substitute for the love of a good woman? Or can you have both? This is Ocean1 in reflective mood, with a TVR, but with a prospective good woman in my sights.

It is much cheaper to run a Tuscan than a good woman! Also, when you've bathed the car, you can appreciate her curves and beauty, instead of noticing the cellulite appearing!!! p.s Autoglym is cheaper than Issey Myake Perfume!! BUT..... there's nothing like a good woman

Neither is an adequate substitute for the lack of a good one of the other. The prefect woman won't mind the hours tinkering with your TVR, providing you spend equal amounts of time helping her tinker with hers..

I'm hoping its possible to have both, but if not I'm not parting with the TVR for a good while yet.. Too long have I waited..

Was there? I'll refrain from reiterating then..

As for which is the more expensive to keep, I'd venture to sugest that if you are watching the pennies being spent then perhaps something isn't quite right. IMHO, something might be wrong when you start noticing the spend..

I've parted with girlfriends more easily than I'd part with my TVR.. Does that make me sad?

Might explain why I am currently single though..

The trick is to get one that likes TVRs.

The first thing my friend’s mother said when she saw my Tuscan was “You don’t need a girlfriend when you’ve got one of those!”

I can’t quite decide if she’s right or not.

Best thing I ever did was marry a woman who loves and owns a TVR. Guess I'm pretty lucky.

You can't try 5 women out over a weekend, and decide which one you like best

Well I've never been able to

THAT DOES IT. No TVR is as bad as CHERIE BLAIR! No matter how bad its been it cannot be that bad!
