Sitting in a traffic Queue yesterday when on the screen in front of me up pops the legend "Diagnostics. Code L!"

I pulled straight over and whipped the handbook out. Various diagnostics codes are listed but no code L. Straight on the phone to the dealer.

"Hold on a minute, we'll check. Yes - here it is, were you sitting in traffic at the time".

"Yes".

"It's telling you that you have been travelling very slowly"

"So, a warning light comes on to tell me I'm going too slowly".

Raucous laughter from both ends of the phone.

"Err... Basically yes".

Only a TVR could have a system for warning you that you are going too slowly. That's why we love 'em. Magic.

I feel a new car sticker coming on.

"Diagnostics Code L - Lots of Love, TVR"

We could slap them on flat cap wearing Nissan drivers as we blast past them down a country lane.

Noooooo Gaffer!
I prefer to think of it as the living beast expressing it's need for speed!

Well think of the wheelspins as the beast snarling at the slower cars around it to move out of its way
