Automedon - pick up

After all the good comments regarding Automedon, I thought i would give them a try.

I rang last week, they have booked car in for work to be done this week.

I was really impressed with the speed of response, the icing on the cake is that Colin (of Automedon) even came to collect my car Yesterday ( SUNDAY !!!! ).

Ye!! a Sunday, Now thats pretty cool in my book!
Thats all the way from Blackpool to Hull, and back, round trip of about 260 miles - on a Sunday.

Very impressive !!

I never got that type of customer service from the the dealer I used to use.

Hopefully the few bits an bobs will be done during this week and I will get the car back next weekend.

Yep, You can trust these guys with any of your pride and joys!! I live just around the corner from them and am forever popping in to ask some advice and they are always keen to help!
Just had my tuscan seviced with them and it was done with speed and precision, giving advice and a freindly service that makes them very good to deal with (and a very reasonable price!!) I would hope more and more people start to use these guys as they really do know everything there is to know about tvr's, even sourcing myself some chameleon paint which seemed impossible to get even from the tvr factory.

My tuscan has run better than ever since getting it serviced there, just wish they could find out what the irritating squeeking noise is comming from it!!

how did they charge for collection and delivery - I'm just over the river from you in Hull so am interested in not having to drive there and back....

I think it's 20p per mile, but could be wrong. They delivered my Griff home last month after some t***t hit it on the ferry. They did a brilliant job then some other t***t reverses into my passenger door!! So it's there again. Top people.

They have just done a few jobs on my griff, great service, fast turnaround, two nice blokes, would recommend them everytime

I think they picked yours up after they dropped mine off in Grimsby. I had a 12,000 mile service on the Tuscan and it drives as good as new. They charge 40p/mile for collection and return and I would'nt care if it was twice that as the standard of service was excellent and at very reasonable rates. I won't be going anywhere else from now on.

Yes, Colin did say he had just dropped of a Tuscan in Grimsby. Good to hear you were also very please with them.

I am just looking forward to getting the my car back.

Just to add to the "big up" of the lads at Automeadon. Sound guys! They even worked on my car at the factory. Hopefully pick her up on Sunday.
