The TVR Tuscan Challenge is rolling in to Brands Hatch this weekend - the 2nd & 3rd September.

This is usually an excellent weekend & Brands is a superb venue to watch the racing - in the past we have had over 100 TVRs parked up to watch the racing.

Ive arranged with Brands for them to cordon off the gravel car park area next to the grandstand for TVR parking at a cost of just £2.00 per car - entrance is £12.00 per head on the day or £10.00 if you buy online through the Brands Hatch website.

Hope to see a few of you there - I know many of the locals plan to come along.

All the best

I wondered if it was all happening on Saturday but as the BH website mentions the TVR's on Sunday (but no times given) wasnt too sure.

I thought we had a double header - one race Saturday & one on Sunday was what I was told recently - is this not the case?

Its good to keep in touch

When I was speaking to Howard to other week at silverstone, he said that it is not a double header anymore TVR's only racing on the Saturday. I'm gonna be there. I'll be buying tickets on the gate though.

The Brands Race was never a double header... It was shown as being over Saturday and Sunday as the BRSCC have the circuit for the whole weekend and untill recently hadnt firmed up the timetable..

A few peeps had assumed it was a double header due to it being listed as both days... But the race entry cost should have given it away as a single race...

that reminds me i'd better move some money and get my entry in !!!!

I see where youre coming from Graham, but up untill recently I think most of us were under the impression it was a two day event. (I was told this was the case by someone who is racing there - even the man at Brands Hatch said it was when I arranged the parking just last week)

No problem if it isnt (apart from having to reschedule our monthly meet back to its usual venue as it had been cancelled) but it would be nice if the infromation was freely available in time for us to see.

Just trying to drum up support for you guys - help us to help you

hehe No problem, The timetable wasnt confirmed untill very recently so although we knew it was a single race even we didnt know which day!!!!!

Brands Hatch wouldnt have known either, as they only had the provisional timetable from the BRSCC who organise the races, which at one point had us qualifying on Sat and racing on sunday!!!

Its a real pain for everyone when the timetables come out late but top marks for organising things.... and dont foget to pop into the awning for a coffee and say hi..

G

Edited to say us racers probably dont help by being really late with the entries !!!!!!

Fantastic, are they going to be using the indy circuit or the grand prix circuit?

It's on the ph calendar as 2nd and 3rd, maybe a mod should change it before there a load of dissappointed tvr fans.

I put my name down for the sat only but it automatically goes onto both days

PH calendar - TVR Racing

You can try - but I cant promise anything.

If you have a TVRCC membership card it might be worth flashing it at the gate.

Bring the Chim - you know it makes sense

I was there but not in the TIV. Was good to see the tuscans in action again. Shame about the weather though.
