At 11.40 (20 mins before close) the car still hadn't made reserve.

Just got back from Lunch and the poster has arrived, enquired about the whereabouts of the book and apparently the demand was higher than supply, book should be with us all in a couple of weeks.

Think the final price was below reserve and came in at £40,200.

There have been messages stating that the number of registrants was unexpectedly high, but that all posters and catalogues have been despatched separately in second class post. A little patience...

I've now received both my poster and book (book arrived this morning), under seperate cover. The book is about A5 in size. The quick glance I had this morning didn't throw up spec, but a series of photos and mild blurb - will have to inspect more closely when I get home.

BTW the posty has made a great job of mangling the book though, as it came in just a padded jiffy bag envelope. Would have been far better if they'd followed Amazon's example and sent the book in a cardboard sleeve. Oh well....
