I've just run out of Titanium wax (£67) and was thinking of giving the Concours Glaze a go.

Anyone use it, is it worth £164?

idea...... or is it all a load of overpriced poo and I should try P21?

No Zymol experience, but Mothers 3 stage process worked wonders on my Tuscan. Try maxx-waxx.

You might *just* decern a difference between the regular Titanium wax and the Concours, but the P21 is IMHO just as good as either of these.

All of these high caranuba content waxes loose their lustre very quickly. The real benefit is in the underlying paint preparation and the last stage protection from the wax only has a minor effect on how your car looks. Ever had that feeling of having spent hours Zymoling your car only to come away and thinking you've got a very shiny but somewhat flat look to the paint underneath.

Don't get me wrong I think it's great you're using Zymol on your car, but for the same money you can go a very long way towards preparing your car for any wax you choose and it'll look wonderful. If you want to go the full hog take a look at www.autopia-carcare.com/ and *then* put your chosen caranuba wax on top. Takes about 3 days to do though first time

Cheers

Steve, give P21 a go - it's a less expensive trial! Get the paint cleaner too as a prep.

I don't have any experience with anything other than Autoglym and P21s. Pies gave me some to try a while back and now I use that.

Let us know what you think.

P21s is avaliable at all Harley dealers under the name s100. Its the exact same stuff, also get the GPEC - Gloss enhancing paintwork clenser. I got both at my local harley dealer for a shade over 20 quid. Its good gear!

I'd give the P21S cleanser and wax a try, results on my car below. Considering that's 16 year old paint work you've got to admit it isn't bad.

Another vote for P21 and the autopia web site. I even went as far as buying one of the USA random polishers! As has been said, expect to spend a weekend but the results are worth it. Rich...

hi there as i`ve been a pro detailer for the past 7 yrs i have tried out alot off wax`s and found that P21 is a good wax but does not last that long

if u like the zymol Titanium you will love the zymol concours even more as this will give the paint work an even deeper wet shine but dont forget to use the zymol HD clense before

Independent lab tests do not support that view. Do you have any authoritative tests ?

It's an interesting comment because it's the first logical reason I could see why anyone would spend £100 on wax when P21 does the job perfectly for £30. Maybe there's something in it? scratchchin

Has anyone used this www.autopia-carcare.com/son-450.html for their Tiv? I am concerned about swirl marks being created on my Tuscan when I polish etc. Currently, I use Meguiar's paint prep, polish and carnauba wax 3-stage treatment.

OK then, this is where I realise I am doing untold permanent damage to my p&j. I get (to my eye at least ) a really good finish on my Chimeara using Mer shampoo and polish , which is right at the economy end compared with the exotic stuff you all use . Is Mer bad ? Would I see a massive improvement with a better product ?

Speak to Roop (ph id=roop) re Zymol Concours wax. We used it when the RS 500 was in the RSOC concourse competition at donnington.

Really deep shine to it, took ages to do though.

Apologies for going off topic, but just had a look at the autopia website - the Sonus SideVUE Blind Spot Mirror looks great; does anyone know of a RHD product that'll do the same job?

Use the Titanium wax on mine and very impressed both in terms of results and ease of use.

I think that the concours glaze may give a slightly better shine but I believe that is it also a little softer so may need to be reapplied more often. If you are not doing competitions and actually use the car I am sure that the Titanium is fine. Maybe use the change for some petrol and take the car out. Have also heard a lot of good things about the P21S.
