Hotel in between is The Imperial. Been refurbished, a little on the expensive side (but we had the advantage of TVRcc discount for Back Home!), very Olde Worlde and I really liked it.

Which Pier..?

North - Hilton
Central - There arent that many unless you go inland a bit
South - Anything Like The Big Blue Hotel (Blackpool Hotel & Restaurant
of The Year 2005)

I stayed in the Hilton a short while ago with my folks, after we couldn't get into the Metropole.

It looks a little dingy on the outside, but I was really, really impressed when we got in. Buffet dinner that was excellent. Highly recommend it to anyone.

All the other hotels look like doss houses to be honest.

I stayed at a nice one when I went to watch the white stripes... pool, buffet breakfast, couple of bars etc...

"De Vere Herons Reach
East Park Drive
Blackpool FY3 8LL"

Only about three miles to the tower.

Speed bumps down the drive were a nightmare though, I seem to remember doing a bit off roading at one stage

I've stopped at the De Vere above and it is nice, and as it's out of town it's a little quieter. For one on the prom I can definately reccomend the Big Blue - really nice hotel and bang in the middle of the action.
