Just had some more great customer service from The Garage. Our cooling system has been unpredicatably leaking for a while. David solved it. Took him two goes so he didn't charge for the extra work.

Big Thumbs Up.

Now if only the Porsche garage would try and keep my bills down...

I concur. The Bat did my Griffith and did exactly what it said on the invoice. No problems, and a nice guy too.

Dave is indeed excellent, but I think it's fair to say that with his hourly rate going up dramatically in the last year or so and the loss of the near-site street parking it is no longer such a "no-brainer" as to whether to use his services or not.

Surely his rate is still much cheaper than Fernies and Raving Queens? He is a one man band? Anything over £45 per hour is v v expensive as it is starting to get to Fernies rates and possibly heading towards RGs.
How does it compare to APM who I think is £35 ph ?

DB is £60 ph - as far as I know..

and RG is £65 but you can get a TVR CC discount of 10 % on servicing..

But all that is outside of basic servicing pricing ..

most have a fixed price for each cars service - so it's worth while checking.

Indeed. It's somewhere in the 60's anyway. He used to be around £35-£40 before he put his prices up though.

£60 ph - blow me, that is very pricey. Hope you get extras!
APM is £38 ph.
Racing Green is literally 10 mins drive from David Batty. So what is the 'usp'?
