To take the Tiv??
Discussion
Now since the Griff Growl I have not really driven my Griffith. The longest Journey it has been on is 70 odd miles to Ashford and back. The rest has been little 5 mile journeys to my parents and back.
I am due to got to a Wedding in Carlisle this weekend and am going to Newcastle on the Thursday for 2 days first. I was planning on taking my Astra Hack, but because I did not get around to buying a CD player for it and the weather looks ok. I am seriously considering taking the Griff.
So do I or not??? arrggghhh the choices!!

I don't see the issue here? the week of the Growl we did 2k miles, and didn't miss a beat. This week i have driven nearly 800 miles in two round trips for work, the time between has been a couple of short local journeys per week.
I am an all year rounder though, but we havent reached the salty road stage yet if that is your concern.

Damn it's set to rain Thursday onwards!!!
Griff Pros:
More fun
Faster
Can hoon around cool roads.
Has a CD Player (I would die if I had to listen to radio one all the way up!)
Will make a better impression at the wedding
Cons:
Luggage space (need to take the following: 4.9m power kite, 2.5m power kite, suit + over coat,x2 laptops and computer kit clothes for 4 days of partying, and then the gf's luggage on the way back.)
Reliability
Fuel Costs
Oh f**k it!! I really don't like the people who are going to the wedding, so I'll need to get some enjoyment somehow!
Saftey of car.

Really where abouts? I lived in Carlisle for 3 years and Newcastle for 2. I think it's a definite yes for Griff power!

if you have not driven your tiv much recently then that is more of an excuse to take it.

If your car hasn't let you down much...

Now that's the attitude that got us all into TVR's and keeps us here...Hope you dont have to wait too long to join us in the insane asylum, you won't regret it
Just remember a TVR is not just for christmas, its for life!

Well, I seem to be doing the complete opposite of the reason behind the sales on PH Classifieds. I'm buying a house (well, getting one built at the moment) and as soon as that's on its way, i'm getting the Chim. Thought I wanted a 4 litre, then drove a 450. Now i'm erring on going for a 500. It'll be my daily drive, but my commute is only a few miles, so I won't be putting much mileage on it.
