The same Oil question.

I’ve just had the Griff serviced by Joolz and I forgot to pick up some Valvoline Synpower 5W50 for top up. It looks like being a couple of weeks before I’ll be able to get some locally.

So will I be ok to top up with what’s left of my Mobil 1 Motorsport 15W50 or will I have to bite the bullet and pay mail order delivery charges which takes me back to Mobil prices.

I would hope you do not need a top up within two weeks, or do you do very high mileages?

Your right I shouldn’t need it, I just panicked when I went to pick up a few cans and it was the wrong stuff 5W40.

Though with the run back from Chesterfield, out to Tankersley on Saturday and I do use the car daily it may just need a sniff. Then again thinking about it there must have been a fair bit of the old stuff in there when it was changed so I don’t suppose a bit more would make any real difference.
