I just saw a bit of a crap show on a Bravo. I was just having a random flick and saw a bit of Street Crime UK. There was a sting operation in Newcastle where the coppers where busting kerb-crawlers.

The first guy they pulled over (who was all pixelated out) was driving a nice looking blue metallic Griff.

The chap in question probably had a nice evening planned until he asked an undercover copper if she 'knew french' (?).

Perhaps one of you chaps is having horrible flashbacks of summonses/ divorces etc... Sorry!

Tony

They didn't happen to mention the area he was 'pulled'....oh sorry - I couldn't help it

I work for Bravo!! In fact the room it's transmitted from is about 5m from where I'm typing this!! So if anyone wants a copy (for a couple of quid!) I'm sure I could run a few off over the next few night shifts.

It was near Commercial Street according to the coppers in the show.

I'm sure that the driver simply mistook the attentions of the officer to be those of a fellow enthusiast who wanted to talk TVR, and decided to take the opportunity to see if he could brush up on his linguistic skills at the same time!?

I've never heard of Commercial Street in Newcastle! I'm going to have a look when I get home tonight!
Guess where I am today? Lytham St Annes! I stayed at the De Vere Hotel in Blackpool last night (it was okay but room was freezing). I've only seen 1 TVR since I've been here too!

Is that why you couldn't get 50 Griffs @ VW?

Just think though....

Anyone driving a used blue Griff - it could've had whores in it doing all sorts of sticky stuff....
