shout ROLL UP, ROLL UP!

OK folks, the Old Crocks race hehe is looming large on the calander. 5th November 2006.

Who fancies a meet up/hoon/spectate the event? Hopefully it wont be as wet as last year yikes

As last year, propose to watch the 'old bangers' as they pass through Handcross (near Pease Pottage/Horsham, Sussex) on the old A23. Those of you who attended last year will remember that we bunked in on the Caterham 7 club's 'Park & Pork Sausages' for a fair contribution to their given charidee

I havent asked the 7 boys yet, just want to gauge numbers first, but the 'hotdogs' are worth the trip alone lick

Initial show of hands please.

1. FUBAR (probably )
2.

NB derekg500 has guranteed the sun for us this year, so would be a shame to waste it

Yup - last year was an absolute shocker!

Sorry mate, I'm away this weekend otherwise I'd have been in there like (with?) swimwear. Last year's rain was well worth it for the sausages served by the 7s boys and girlslick

I have sprogs that day but could pop down with them for a quick hello (and maybe just one hotdog hehe), could also tie this in with a trip to see "great grandma" in Horley. What sort of time of day are you talking?

Nice one TC. I may bring my dustbins along too. Wanna go halves on a portable cage or some leg tethers? hehe

From memory, we need to be at the viewing site for about 10-10.30, otherwise those greedy 7ers will eat all the hotdogs and park in all the parking spots (leaving us in the layby like last year, which was OK as they saved us some spots ). We can either meet up and go straight there or go for a short hoon (nothing too silly with the kids aboard...shouldnt worry you either way, Driving Miss Daisy hehe). Normally stay for an hour or so until bored (or until comletely soaked)

So..meet will be sometime between 9-9.45 depending on what we do beforehand.

(NB I have the right to alter the times as I see fit coz its my thread )...its all about me, me, me rofl

Only if it's raining might I add - see if we can get the thread moved once we know what the weather is like. If its set to rain then we move it and deny there was ever anything to do with TVR's

What a bunch of softies. I'll be there as last year rain or shine with the S. Let it not be forgot that a certain Griffith driver did it last year with the top off.

Thanks for the post Nick - I was wondering if you were going to do anything again after last year's success.

Yeah, only after he'd cried off the Summer Concert the week before due to a light shower - leaving Nick and I to share the champers and a family bucket...
