What are the chances of seeing a stunning U-Turn on the latest decision from Blackpool H.Q ?

I'm still finding it hard to digest that TVR's are going to move production away from this island.

Please..... any chance of a U-Turn ?

Definitely non-zero, but I wouldn't hold out much hope.

On the other hand - I reckon there's a miniscule possibility that what has been said so far will turn out to be what actually happens.

I would say pretty strong, still reckon he is playing brinkmanship with the powers that be - either that or the penny will soon drop that a Sagaris/Tuscan is no Rover 75 - i.e you can't just ship the factory off to another country, chuck in a load of metal, plastic, rubber and glass at one end and out pops a shiny new car at the other, you do need people with experience to build these things.

Lets face it, cr@p seems to emanate from the mouths of the management at Blackpool on a weekly basis, so i reckon owts possible

It was mentioned in another thread that with no staff and no factory to sell as (I believe) it's rented, NS possibly has a few moulds, some management staff and the TVR name to take to Europe !?!

If this is true, to go to Europe and effectively start again from scratch seems a little mad to me....

It's also been suggested that NS is doing this in the hope that some wealthy individual or group might offer to buy him out.... If that's the case I hope some one comes forward soon.... I know if I had the money I'd offer... but I didn't win the lottery this weekend !!

He could be trying it on with the Local Authorities, may be trying to get a free factory for a few years and a business development grant! I know I would if I owned the company!

He could have done that 2 years ago and saved the additional £15M he has had to toss in.

I have supported him in the past but this is looking like a cock-up of monumental proportions

I'm not sure if it's a question of a U-turn, its more like how many times is he going round the roundabout and which exit he'll get off at.

He's already made more U-turns than a drunken Tomtom.

To be honest I don't think you'll need a lottery win.. what did Rover go for in the end.. £10
