First of all, what a Top day yesterday! It had to be done!
If you missed the report on BBC North West last night, they have it on the website at the moment.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/la

See the link top right > Video & Audio news > TVR Rally

Watch it while you can!

Does anyone have the Granada TV report? The young lady journalist and the camera guy were there all day and she interviewed lots of ppl at the pub but I can't find it on the ITN or Granada sites and my SKY plus only gets my local ITV and London so I couldn't watch it last night. (Why is that when they have all BBC regions available? irked)

Very good report - indeed considering it's BBC it's not at all patronising plus no mention of climate change! hehe

I've got both the BBC and Granada reports on my PC. Files are a bit big at the moment to post somewhere. I'm just struggling to compress them at the minute.

I've managed to reduce the size and merge the 2 (BBC and Granada) reports into 1 file about 10mb in size.

File can be found here : www.aqvs75.dsl.pipex.com/tvr/rally-localmedia.wmv

I've no idea how long it will be available for, so if anyone else can grab it and host it, it would be appreciated.

Russ, you are a star, well done.
That is something to keep, and will serve as a reminder of a very poignant day

Awesome work, Russ. I've just watched it three times in a row!!

You know, Dave Chant is something else, isn't he? A natural in front of the media, the guy commanded total respect from everyone on Friday, not just for his stirling efforts to pull the whole event together, but also for the calm confidence in the way he conducted himself throughout. An MD of his own company, exemplary communication and people skills at all levels, excellent organisational ability, unbridled passion for the TVR marque and a bloody good all-round bloke. In fact all the attributes one would expect to be exhibited by the MD of a successful sports car company

Thanks to Russ35 for the joined video clips. I also want to say how much I agree with the comments about Dave Chant. Excellent on-camera job.
