i have read with interest people saying they have an AA waranty which they paid very little for, and when they have had to claim the AA have been very accomodating.
anyway, i called the AA and they said THEY DO NOT COVER TVR'S.
so can anyone shed any light on the subject as my WH warranty runs out soon and they were bloody terrible, con merchants.

cheers
jody

i had aa cover on my cerbera, i bought it from the dealer at the same time as the car, i think your right in that you cant buy if direct.

I had lots of little problems with my car they were sorted out through the dealer with the warrenty but i think there is an issue with the allowed hourly rate, ie they wouldnt pay full rate.

Has anyone had any experience of Car Plan I've got this cover when I bought my cerb last year from DM, maybe a better alternative than WH.

This is the link to the AA cover, however, I would say that £500 won't cover much! TVR centre hourly rate is £72+vat

I have AA cover on my Chimaera.
Don't forget it is 500 quid per claim up to a couple of grand I think. On V8 engined cars I think that lots of the smaller stuff - starter motor, ECU, clutch cylinders etc will fit into this category.
Not had to claim on it yet though...

i think the AA's extra cover on top of their breakdown cover only works if u break down and then something needs fixing.
but i am sure they are a lot easier to get money out of then Warranty Holdings
