I just wondered how the moulds were made for the Chim bonnet?
With the vents up the side I can't see how it could of been made in one with out a join up the middle.
I have a "Fiberon" new bonnet here,it doesn't show any splice lines and appears the vents were cut out afterwards.
The reason I ask is i've made a tilt front and glassed the wings to the bonnet, and as it so bloody heavy I want to take a mould to make a lightweight front, looks like besides the vents I can pull out of the plug in one.

Hi I'm Julian - The owner of Fibreon. Glad to hear one of my panels have reached distant shores.Wowbounce The bonnet mould is made up of 5 split sections plus a further 2 for the inside. The nose mould is made up of 8 split sections. I'm sorry to say but I think you've got NO chance of making a one piece mouldnonoto include the bonnet and wings. It can be done but you'll need to split the mould in several places to insure easy release. Good luck

Cheers Julian
Bought your product through Tom at Bell Hill, when buying a Cat D last year, will have a go at doing in three (front section and halved down the bonnet) as I don't need to go into the light recesses(glassed flush with body)and the wings are cut at the top of the "lifeboat" bulge, fingers crossed.
