It just occured to me that with all the TVR employees facing redundancy it might be wise of Pistonheads members to give any details of opportunities in the North West.

I know for a fact that the company I work for (BAE Systems - formerly British Aerospace) is currently recruiting.

In addition they are currently running a "Bounty Scheme" whereby employees who successfully refer future employees are paid £1500 (I think it is). This could turn into a win-win solution as the bounty could be donated to the TVR workers fund to help employees who are still struggling to find a job.

The bounty scheme is applicable to the following roles but there are other opportunities:

Facilities Management
Facilities Engineers
Engineering (all disciplines)
Support Engineering (all disciplines)
Project Management
Procurement
Commercial
Quality

I would offer to do this myself but I am due to leave the company in a short while and am not sure if I would be eligable for the payout having left the company. I am sure I can find someone else within the company to take this role if there is any interest.

(P.S. I hope I am not posting something which has already been said elsewhere, if so I appologise)

Some unfortunatly won't...

Blimey mate, the UNAMED buyer looking to move into Bristol Avenue wont have any staff left to build cars at this rate.
