after picking my chim up after a respray, on the way home from erith in kent to chelmsford,she starts to run like shxt,pull over main cat glowing bright red(that not good)get her to repair shop they say electical problems,change batttery mine dead re wire leads from alternater to battery ,then runs good ,past mot next day.go out for a blast starts to run lick shxt,(not again)get a ECU reader from a man on piston heads it says code 43 lambda senser out ,get new one £93. fit .go for a blast starts to rub like shxt(no not again) Read every posting on hear about lambda sensers,glowing cats ,power problems,spluttering,running lick shxt, ah i might have a lead ,remove the main cat y pipe from the manifolds find the pre cat on passengers side driven round the lambda senser(no wonder it not working)five hours later both pre cats out.go for a blast round the block(dont want to go to far might conk out again)runs very well , go for a bigger blast with some real speed(with in the limit)!!!.no problems running like a dream,sounds even better.being out for a blast every night since sunday no probs had a game with a boy in a porky porsh he run out of man stuff a 140 ish.
THE CHIM IS RUNNING THE BEST.the end.

Excellent news mate, hopefully thats the end of all your troubles.

Had a minor scare with the Griff last week, drove it out the garage only to find a large pool of power steering fluid on the garage floor. Luckily it was pretty far back so was sure it wasn't the rack. Anyway turned out to be a loose Jubille clip on one of the hoses under the power steering reserviour.

very funny. Just out to warm the fluids up etc, not out on the roads. When Tracey and I drove back from Stansted on the way back from Blackpool they were gritting the M11. A quick email to Essex CC confirmed that they had also done the A12/A130.

PS.Its not true Martins car rarely gets out the garage,ive seen his wife in it many times during weekdays,sure he knows though.
