What are the odds?
Discussion
Like a lot of TVR fans on here I have no intention of selling my TVR - ever. period. To me it is a dream come true, although ownership can bring me back to the real world with a bump sometimes. What the hell, it's only money and you can't take it with you. The sensation of hammering a quick Cerb through the gears on a dry and sunny day is priceless.
Only thing thats concerning me a little is how long will 'classics' be allowed on the public highways? Most classics break every rule in the book these days, emissions, noise, efficiency, safety, etc etc. So when will the dickheads say enough is enough and force us into buying sterile, safe, economic and utterly characterless machines? Will it be illegal to run a Cerb on the public roads in twenty years time?
btw, I have just been playing Red Barchetta, from Rush, Exit Stage Left, which sums it all up for me.
Drunken Ramble mode off .
