My parents have a mondeo, if you could swap the engine without them noticing, then, yes, i would be interested.

I'd like a v8 in my mondeo but only if you can make it rear wheel drive at the same time...

Fairly certain there was a TVR development engineer (If that's not a contradiction in terms) with a Sierra running a 4l V8. I'll do some :typing: research and come back to it.

Have seen a 5.something litre overfinch V8 fitted to a Sherpa Van some years ago ... mid mounted in the back.

Also seen 4 litre supercharged TVR engine fitted to a Landrover Defender 90, lowered suspension and an Auto Transmission fitted.

I hope it was an old old escort (i.e pre-MKIII), rear wheel drive would be an advantage!

No Lemming it was a 5 l Ford V8 taken from a Mustang, it was called XR8 and was built as due to import duties at the time the cossie was too expensive, so a rear wheel drive V8 had to do in its place. It was and still is a stunning car.
