There was someone on the central reservation near the traffic lights as we left the ACE cafe. He was taking a video of all the cars that past driving

It took quite a long time for all cars to get out of ACE (and surrounding roads)nearly and Hour ?

WELL, I think that Video footage would make an idea Christmas DVD for all of us London Thunder people.cloud9cloud9

It should have all cars on, its got to last about an Hour of more - what better way to spend Christmas.xmascloud9

So if whoever took the Video - there is a market for it, well at least I would like one.xmas

Between £5 to £10 a peice, xmas

If there was a profit, perhaps this could be donated to charity. If so may I respectfully suggest the Cystic Fibrosis trust (a charity close to my heart)as a potential beneficary.

JUST AN IDEA - I am sure there are at least 479 customers out there !!!

Interesting post - I was wondering about those lights. I was stuck at them for a while (as others were too, I'm sure...) and there was 2 or 3 guys with cameras/videos taking loads of pics etc and I would be keen to know if any of the pics or footage was/is being hosted anywhere...my missus said that one of the guys there took quite a few pics of my Tuscan whilst we were sitting there.

Cheers

Andy

I dont think the police will sell the footage - albeit it for xmas or your birthday.

Nope, they got some marvellous video of over 450 TVRS's, the Reg No's and Full Face Videos of the drivers/owners. That'll go straight to their central library. Or am I being too suspicious???

I may be wrong, but it was not a police video , but something to do with recording numbers etc re World record attempt etc

The main men/women who organised the whole thing will know - I hope

The chap with the video camera was JD from Streetlife TV and myself (with the silly hat/vissie vest and stills camera, we came down to help David out and get some pictures and footage of the day
The stills i took are here
www.max1t.com/thunder_run

(there are some odd ones also in the wanted picture thread)

The footage that JD took has been sent away to be checked as the clicker that was being used was found to be faulty and the video is the only verification that there is.
I could be wrong but i think he is putting something together for the day, i would say however he has at least 3 DVD's to get done as well.

I'd be interested as I suspect that I was amongst the last few cars to leave the ACE I reckon we were waiting about an hour and a half at least we were hidden behind a bus.

JD and myself did the video count upstairs in the office, white line on the road and every TVR we saw cross that point.

Id like to point out that there were more than the 478 cars we counted but for the record to be valid they need evidence not hear say and we can only go on what we counted.

I was beginning to think I wasnt at thunder...not a single pic with the chim in it. But then I looked at the pics from this thread and finally I have proof !. I can see my wingmirror and the o/s of my car out of focus just in the edge of one of the photos. I know it was me as I know who was behind me! Hurrah !

I think I've seen Lee's somewhere around here, either on the forum or linked to. Not yours yet though Pasco.
I'll post a link if I come across it again.
