I am being too lazy after a long day to set it out, but have you seen the item on TVR Power in the TVRCC headlines.
Things seem to be happening.

TVRCC statement said that Dom Trickett has concluded the purchase of TVR Power from TVR and are now able to offer a full and comprehensive service to keep all current TVR models on the road.

TVR Power are putting in place an efficient distribution network to allow easy access to all parts for main dealers, independents and TVR owners alike.

As part of the buy-out deal, all engine warranty work for existing models will be carried out at TVR Power’s Coventry site, with upgrades and full sports packages also being available.

Gather they have also bought all the moulds for Tuscan (mk1) etc.

Still sceptical I'm afraid, if I can ring AP, MBE etc and they tell me that they can now supply power direct without worrying about their existing contracts with TVR Engineering then that will be fantastic, if however this is not the case then we will still be waiting 6 to 8 weeks for clutches, ecu's etc......hope I am wrong

This is very new and very good news.

Taking the weak link out of the circuit and taking control again.

TVR Power can only help the situation and make everyone realise that its isn't a chore to own a TVR its a privilege that too few take.

Hopefully the thrase `Its on back order' will be heard far less drink

As far as the clutches are concerned, AP are no longer the only place that supply the clutches.

Spoke to Dom today & he confirmed that TVR Power are now dealing direct with AP and indeed all the key suppliers. Given a little time to get his house in order, parts supply shouldn't be an issue at all.

Fabulous! thumbup

Kind of..see here. Reason 1.

www.tvrmonster.co.uk/news8.html

but i think the deal is MUCH bigger than was originally spec'd. I know that this is what Dom has been after for sometime and I'm glad that he has finally secured the "full monty" that he was after, but i'm not sure that this was what the factory originally wanted. deals like this take MANY months to put together so I guess NS had a plan for sometime?

Anyaway, Nice one Dom.
