Guys,

Don't forget Bruntingthorpe this saturday, even though the 75 track day spaces went inside 5 days, the rest of the complex, including auto test, trade stands, concours and TMS with all the new TVR in action will be open to all.

This will include a sprint along the 2 miles straight (60 metres wide!!!) with a speed trap at the end to record your top speed at the end of the day, all this for £15 per car including driver plus £5 per passenger.

Hopefully the weather will be as last weekend, so what are you waiting for. Lets get a least several hundred TVR out for the day.

I'll be there and I think Guy Evans from Nitron was thinking of going too.

Remind me, can we turn up and pay on the gate or do we need to book?

Anyone wanting to meet up on the way down south the idea of 7.30 at Donington services was mentioned a while ago, anyone still up for this?
I think you can pay on the gate to spectate only, (could be wrong though, check before you go)

When I called TMS a few weeks ago you could turn up & pay £15 for the 2 mile afternoon session (4pm ish I think). Suggested a helmet & reckoned there'd be noise restrictions (at Bruntingthorpe!!??)

Could be up for that - need to check with SWMBO/social secretary.

I'll also try and find out if we can just turn up on the day...

At least I know the way to B'thorpe.

That was the general idea Although staying in the pub and watching the rugby is also on the list of possibilities

Cheers Steve. Will your other half be coming? Maybe nice to meet her if I'm coming out partying with you lot the following week. Won't feel such a spare part then

Unfortunatly she'll be staying at home because I send her out to work on a Saturday night and we wouldn't be back before she has to start

Is there a noise limit for the 2 mile straight does anyone know. Do I have to take the carbon cans off before I hit the straight at 190mph?

Never had a problem with a loud Cerbera at Bruntingthorpe. It must be pointed out they do ground run an English Eletric Lightning on occasion and that's not quiet!!!!!
