I read the article on TVR Power's Supercharger and how well it did across Europe.

It filled me with Horror eek. Howard presented us as bunch of nerds in interested in MPG yikes

I never once thought about MPG! Come on, we were interested ragging the cars, the beer and having a scream. Petrol only crossed my mind when trying explain which pump I was on to some French petrol station dude.

No mention of the crazy themed hotels, mad nights and even madder days with a brunch of great people.

Where were tales of SheepShagger and Austin 'Do I make you Horny baaaaby' Powers bounce

Anyway a video is now out to set the record straight. I think the driving has been slowed down a bit by Dave

What a great bit of video!! Where was it filmed?

...and is it just me, or does the Lambo look, well, just a bit plain and boring in amongst all those Tivs? ;-) There are a couple of clips of a Tuscan in particular that look really cool....

Cheers

Jerry

It was filmed in France, Switzerland and Italy. The hair pins were filmed in Stelvio Italy.

The Lambo did sound well, but the trip wore out the clutch. It cost £4K to replace.

It couldn't beat the SP6's on accleration. It left us on top end at 190 yikes. Tiv's had to pull out at around 178.

Cheers Chris - glad you're enjoying these trips so much.

Roll on South of France..........Oh... Johnbear - in case you were too drunk to remember our conversation at our Christmas do the other night, that abbreviates to "SoF"!

Well said Austin... rofl

Was a great trip, full of many memorable events in more ways than one!
The sound of the supercharged chim behind us through some of the tunnels being one of them.. thought the cherry bomb conversion on Jon's chim was mad, spitting and burbling away but it was completely drowned out

Sounds like you all had a great time - Howards article might have mentioned the MPG but it was still very inspirational to all who read it

If you check the threads the FoS has gone and been replaced by SoF. Am I going on a Solider of Fortune trip or a South of France hoon, I have no idea? Maybe it's because the DA are the A-Team of SoF trips.

God my head hurts now, no it's not the alcohol.

hey, I am thinking of a getting a Porker Boxster, I understand they are really macho yikes, I might even get extended freeview shoot

What was that Ladette stuff all about eek They were a werid couple, very strange - They did nothing to improve the image of Porker owners.

They try a sell us all extended freeview, go on about how macho Boxters are compared to Tivs, call every one a ladette and start fights with Aston owners. They must have read 'how to make friends and influence people'

Don't know where it came from confused

Was just minding my own, happily chatting at the bar...

It is strange how you can suddenly go off things - thought porkers were ok, but if they portray an ego like that.. yuck
