Lol, Cheers Sy.

The Chims did pretty well against the Griffs. BUT... just don't argue with the back end of an AJP8.

Ray found that out. Don't think you'll be offering a DB test on one of those again for a while will you?

Pleased to take the unofficial title, though I think I could have hit higher figures if you weren't jumping backwards, 12feet in the air at the time

Comment=
Well we got pretty similar figures but I think you win as I didn't have flames coming out the back...

You Mid Essex TVR folk are all hooligans.

A pair of white stilettos and a Cerbera and you think you can go around revving your engines and generally doing as you like. Well let me tell you, we on Frinton town council will not stand for this kind of reprehensible behaviour and I shall be on the telephone first thing tomorrow to that hooligan in chief Mrs Frost and I shall be making it very clear where we stand on this and the sort of behaviour we expect. I didn't fight in two World wars to be subjected to........... blabla

I'm just NEVER going to live that particular misquote down am I..........

She who owned one of the most subtle Cerbs on the planet and hated it so much we owned it for 5 years!!

Seemed to be a popular little diversion yesterday, so will have to do it again some time.

Luckily UnRep it's no where near sedate lil ol Frinton so stop waving your walking stick at me....

Actually that was my comment as my Tuscan (with carbon cans) and Cerb had the same figures 108db at 3/4 revs and 116db on lift off. Luckily for Ray the flame came out of the other exhaust pipe to the one he was standing in front of!

Ah yes, I couldn't remember exactly the quote, but remembered you mentioning the figures and flame (which I'd never had commented on before - I thought I was going to have to get a decat before I got flame).

Half metre from the exhaust at approx 45 degree angle. Don't think the ground had any real thought, just whatever the person taking the reading at the time was bending down to.

Had a thought over the weekend that has probably been raised before but - what does a Eurotunnel car carriage sound like with a selection of Tivs in it? Or just one for that matter.

Can you get onto the top deck or do you need to stay at the lower level?

yes Mine used to be about that too. The meter went into overload at 130dB and on lift off would make this happen every time!
