Peninsula offers TVR balm

Service discounts for troubled TVRs

Take it to Peninsula TVR
Take it to Peninsula TVR
TVR main dealer Peninsula, based near Exeter in Devon has offered some solace to TVR owners in what principal John Hartshorne called "troubled times".

He said: "we would like to cheer up all TVR and Lotus PHers by a small promotion. We would like to offer 20 per cent off their labour bills on all services completed by 31 January 2007."

So if you call them up, don't forget to mention PistonHeads.

Peninsula's motto is: "Our business is to supply a personal vehicle service to the public and business community. It includes the sale of new and quality used cars with servicing and support services. We are dedicated to giving the best possible value and maintaining the highest possible quality of service."

Name and shame prevent me from commenting.

I see they are a TVR 'Specialist' now. Have they lost their main dealer status?

Read it again - it says 'troubled times'.

It does make you laugh that people can't read their computer screens...

Ahem. *cough, splutter* The heading, you say? Erm, yes, ah, it does, you're right.

Many, many apologies to dingocooke. I am a spaz.

Adding to the massive embarrassment, part of my work involves proofreading...

Come on guys. Cut the crap.....good to see someone discounting expensive labour rates....I can think of a few main TVR dealers that offer the square root of bugger all.
You pays your money and takes your choice.

If you ask me its been the attitude of some the dealers and specialists that caused the troubled times in the first place....

Well said GV, if the cars were a bit cheaper to maintain, more of them might have been better looked after, thus had a better reputation for reliability and running costs, which just might have resulted in more being sold, and continuing to be sold today?
A touch of closing the door........

I think they do Proton because they also do Lotus.

Aside from that, name and shame also prevents me from making any comments.

No, Mongols are those people afflicted by Down's Syndrome or driving Vauxhalls. Spasmos are people afflicted by Cerebal Palsy or driving Fords. FYI - Spasmongols are people like myself who gave up the cheap happiness of running a 420 SEAC for the billionaire's playground of Tuscan maintenance.
