I'm far off needing one yet but with a dark car I will need one and have chosen that in preference to that clear plastic stuff. Just wondered what the going rate is for a front end respray? Secondly how well does reflex charcoal match?

My front end (plus one door) respray cost £600. They matched the starmist blue perfectly.

Blimey, that is sensible money. I see you are East Anglia, do you mind sharing where it was done and would you recommend them??

On my Chimaera I paid 150 quid for paint & around 400 for the respray labour for a front end & wingmirrors. Perfect job.

Back in Feb I was quoted £950 plus VAT for front end and mirrors - or £2200 + VAT for full respray.

Starmist silver @ Hilton Coachworks www.hiltoncoachworks.co.uk/ in Bishop's Stortford.

I used Chris Brown in Downham Market.
Matt at Sebring recommended them to me and I was very happy with the price, quality and overall service.
Both Matt and Chris Brown are PHers BTW.

To be honest this is exactly the sort of job that cash was invented for. It's daft to pay to put it through the books.

For £200 CIH you'll get an excellent job done, just don't be shy to ask.

Reflex may be a different story as it does seem to be comically expensive, hence why I just had the T350 I bought completely resprayed a non reflex colour.

Exactly what I paid in Stockport to Autovation. That was £600 inc. VAT!
