I am sorry to say but it looks like ns has finally left tvr on a sad note, i phoned my tvr garage to book in for some warranty work today and they said i had to be quick as there is to be an news flash from the factory in the next DAY OR TWO that ALL warrantys WILL NOT BE HONOURED as tvr has gone tits up. Please dont flame me for telling you this, i have got as much to lose as the rest of you.

How can they possibly say that?

I called my dealer this am as my speedo has conked out (I had 3 transducers replaced on my 1st Tuscan so not a complete surprise rolleyes). I was told "best wait until next week". The dealers are in the dark as much as we are I think.

surely there must be some way of taking legal action over this....you buy a car with 3 years warranty..thats the part of the sale....its like false advertising otherwise, its a breach of contract surely?

All those with the three year warranty should join forces and sue the pants of NS - there's strength in numbers!

Whoa!

Lets see shall we? Nobody has said the warranties wont be honoured. If at some point somebody does say that then its a different story.

Please refer to tuscan s's opening post above, his dealer said they won't be honoured, if I read it correctly!

Absolutely unrepentant - until you are told warranties are not going to be honoured there is no point contemplating anything. I for one cannot see a reason why they won't be honoured. If the administrators find a buyer - then surely honouring the warranty contracts will become the new buyers responsibility?

If they aren't going to pay the wages/redundancy of those that made them I can't see they'll cover the warranties of those that bought them IMO.

Sounds like your dealer was basically saying:-

You buying? - yeah it's got a three year warranty mate.
You claiming? - no it ain't got a warranty sucker.

If the company with which the warranty contract is made has gone into liquidation then the warranty is worthless. Next week will be very interesting indeed.

Talking out of your arse as always jigs. The answer is that the dealers dont know because they havent been told. So everyone should wait and see. I'm happy to wait and see and I have a new TVR under warranty. You have an old Griff and as usual are just trolling in matters that have fk all to do with you.
