Autoglym polishing cloths

Thought Id try them out, most impressed, much better finish than usual and definatly cuts down on the swirling effect. reocommended.

Looks like it. But its a designer one.

Microfibre cloths are the only thing worth using to polish/wax your car with if you're worried about swirling the paint finish...

hey! dont knock a good "geek" thread! for perfect polish cloths, read expensive stockinette.... tried em, ok but not in the same league as micro fibre.... "geek" mode off! .... did i mention i spent 4 hours claying, cutting, glazing, poly sealing and waxing just my bonnet the other day? ...coat got, door shut.

Halfords sell them, Zippy. Dark blue coloured. Or try www.swissol.com or www.zymol.co.uk

Halfords are cheaper though

bought mine from halfords, £2 or £3... blue, they do two versions, get the one that ISN'T heavy duty for paintwork. Ive seen them for sale in argos too, but haven't tried them quality wise.

They're also damn good in interior trim as well. They work polish wise as they "repel" the wax into the paintwork.

Yes Zippy. Get the polish off with a towel as you do currently, then go over with a microfibre. And yes, shamefully Mark, I've been known to frequent there. I'm a Zymol convert, after winning the compo on PH last year. Swissol is excellent too - the UK guy (Mark someone) is a top bloke. Really lovely guy.

zippy, i usually put on with a meguiars foam pad, off with the microfibre

greg, im currently into blitz wax, quality stuff...over autoglym Super resin.... those state side are so more into detailing than the brits.... love that site .... although some freak even me out!
