Apologies for the cross post, i'm just looking for an answer asap as it will decide if i take the car out today or not

How close on 1000 miles must you be to have the 1000 mile service on a Sagaris? Problem is i'm driving from ireland and i know i won't be exactly 1000, how many miles leway would you have with this?

dealer told me that TVR have been using any over run on service as an excuse to avoid warranty claims. So get done at 999 not 1001 miles.

Don't have a Sagaris but I was told by a very reputable dealer for my Tam that it wasn't a major problem, as long as I followed all the rules properly.

I did call them up before hand to check it out, so I'd suggest you do the same. I can't remember exactly, but I think a couple of hundered miles was A-OK.

I'd say a 100 miles either side won't make any difference IMO.

I just sent an email to the dealer I'm nearly at 700 now and the trip is 280 miles so i'll be really close and that also means not driving it at all over here until i can get to bring it away

It is usually 10% and TVR used to allow that - wouldn't know what they would allow now - do they have a warranty department at the moment.

I wouldn't take any chances at the moment Funky. Try to get it there before the 1000.

or arrange the journey so the closk Turns 1000 just as you enter the dealers car park - then you will have no problems!!

I recently had an engine rebuild 1000 mile service at 950 and the dealer said that was fine...

IIRC my dealer told me to have the 1k done within 100 miles either way but to have the 6k done on the button.

Best bet is to ask the dealer then u cant go wrong.
