Well, it's been a big old circle, starting 4 years ago with me getting my dream car ... from Hertfordshire ... a few weeks before Gabby was born ... a red Griffith 500.

Since then I have had a sublime Ferrari 348 Spider, a great 911 Carrera, and now ... nearly 4 years to the day, the circle has completed itself.

This morning ... from Hertfordshire ... a few weeks before our second child is born .... I put a deposit on a Griff 500 ... but this time in yellow! cool

Hope to pick it up in the next 10 days or so as soon as the paperwork has completed on the plate transfer on the 911.

I love that colour - looks beautiful.

Mind you if you keep leaving and returning to Griffdom like this you're going to end up with an awfully big family - either stick with the Griffith this time or start using some birth control methods.

PS Now get Blueyonder to stop faffing about and get one too.

Nice one Al! Look forward to seeing her down in Spain before too long - maybe we'll manage to finally hook up...BTW, life with a Griff and 2 babies is not as impossible as it sounds (I know)

Cheers everyone. Am very very glad that I found exactly the right colour that I wanted as there aren't that many about in Sunset Pearl.

There are a few little tweaks that I want to get done. Firstly need to figure out which is going to get me the best exhaust note.

Either strip the fluff out of the middle box and keep the perfed pipes (which sounded pretty good on my last one) - strip the fluff out and fit straight through pipes - or do the cherry bomb conversion. I want it loud but not too deep, I quite like the harder edged sound. nb: I will be keeping the pre-cats in for now as some people have said that it doesn't make a really noticeable difference to the sound.

Oh, and get one of Del's "fast silver" chips in it

I'll be posting a video soon of before and after the cherry bomb install.
Before was standard throughout.
Should have it done in the week. Just for your interest!

Is your a pre-cat Dave?

Forget that Dave - just noticed your driving lamps which has answered my question. Look forward to hearing it

Not even chipped Al, just fast

Also, sleeving & leave the padding in "Sans Pre-cats" is the only way to go (imho)
