Ever happened to you

Went to pick up my daughter at a friends house after I had a day out with a mate in the cerb. Get to her friends house just as they are getting back from dinner at a pub. Well, her dad didn't know I owned a tvr and pretty much, full of boyish excitement, demanded a ride in the car. After a quick run down the dual carriage way and bouncing of the rev limiter in 1st and 2nd he was, well, it made his day. Now his wife is pissed off with me as he hasn't stopped talking about it and is seriously contemplating getting one.

Anyone else pissed off another wife/gf like that?

and here I genuinely quote the wife after yesterdays visit by a well known kitchen company....

£12000 for a new kitchen?? That's £1000 per unit!! No chance, I'd rather you got a Cerbera!
