after the write up in this months Sprint I thought I would check it out on a nice Saturday afternoon. Very impressed. Some serious metal/fibreglass at that place. The Speed 12 is just awesome, and the E-types just stunning. Some very interesting cars there and very friendly to boot. Highly recommended to anyone living Hampshire/Surrey/Berks

We were going off the see them too on Saturday, but decided to have a run down to the new forest instead.
Nice day out as well, there is a garage in Beaulieu that sells all sorts of nice sports/classic cars and they have a Cerbera on the forecourt which about 20 poeple were looking over, I slowed down to have a look too and and, er, caught their attention
found a nice pub in Lymington 'The Mayflower' for lunch and parked next to a Dancing Donkey - might have been a 345(?) blokes wife gets in, he lifts a kiddie on to her lap and blasts off at warp speed 9
Good day out all in all though.

I know that garage - they had an S in there a couple of weeks back. Over that way a fair bit on the Hythe - Lymington road for GF purposes.

What I meant to ask was - did they mind you just turning up and kicking the tyres or did you let them believe you were interested in buying something?

well they seemed happy for me to just kick the tyres - although as they were made aware they are now my most local dealership, I suspect they were thinking towards servicing/repairs to mine and not solely sales.

Anyway Mark, you know how it is, you may not always be interested in buying on the journey to the showroom but when you arrive.....

I was there on Sat. as it happens and booked my newly aquired Tuscan in for a service. Very nice workshops/showroom and excellent service from the staff. (Martin fixed my window problem).

BTW I also heard on the grapevine that a certain garage owner in Compton has bought himself a Tuscan. Could be very handy...

Hi Shnozz - This is Shillers posting under the wifes handle cause I cant be bothered to change it. We went to Racing Green and could not believe the cars they had there. Never seen a car show room on the first floor either. I have always been a jag man and now a newly converted TVR chap so I found it quite interesting.

See you at some meet some day!

Thought you might like to know that Racing Green Cars will be open to visitors on Good Friday and Easter Saturday. Or is that an advert ? But there's not much point in being open for families to visit on a Bank Holiday if nobody knows !! Blind eye, Mr Moderator ?
