T400R - in the plastic

I don't remember signing any kind of non-discalimer, so...

At the Sony GT4 car scanning event on Wednesday, a guy was there from the factory, in the final development T400R, registered TVR 1.

Apparently, its the final shape of the road going model, and is the only development car, after two earlier ones of a slightly different shape (Ithink that's what he said).

It's very pretty.

Did you see any discernably different styling details from the original T400/440R at the motorshow etc?

i was under the impression the shape was decided as there is a T400R racing at Sebrings USA

That don't mean nuthin guv! They could completely restyle it (again) before it hits the showrooms....

If it is the T400R that Ben Samuelson took down to Racing Green's open weekend a few weeks ago, then it is the same as the motorshow. In styling anyway. This car also had TVR 1 on it - but these were just show plates. Ben used trade plates to drive the car away.

Interestingly TVR 1 was owned either by Portfield or by a customer of Portfields, because it was on one of their Cerbera's and when they dropped TVR (following their decision to invest in the Jenson project) it was for sale at £35 grand. Can't imagine Mr Wheeler paying that though Rich...

Wasn't it a 440 at Sebring?

And apparently it was not the car at the motor show, but I don't know if it was the one seen at the meet a few weeks ago...

And yes, you will be craving one, if you are anything like me
