i read in the blackpool evening gazette that the presenters of top gear have been invited to the Thunderball! is this true, apparently two have declined for whatever reason and jezza has not yet replied!

i think their reaction on the show was that it sounded a bit sad - thats how it looked on the show...

I think it was very bad form to take the p!55 out of the event which is for such a good cause.

Someone should remind them which TVR biased community started the whole YAA fund when Richard had his crash.

JC wouldn't come ... it's a "buffet" for heaven's sake, far too below him.

agreed, i thought their comments on the show were in VERY poor taste. They probably declined because they fear getting thumped on the nose!

As Derek said in his Sprint..."There's no such thing as Bad Press" They were just playing with us...it got a mention, thats the main thing...they pull jokes at anything they can just to get a laugh

I agree with the sentiment Woody, and i for one was delighted to hear ThunderBall getting a mention.

I'm not sure that Gerald Ratner would agree with "No such thing as bad press" though laugh

You've only got to have a look at the state of James May, to know not to take anything they say to heart.

I'm guessing his idea of a good night in, is watching Clarkson frolicking around naked on his garden.

He reminds me of "Smithers" from the Simpsons.

Pistonheads is a broad church these days, and in any case the two things are not related.
