swap griff tamora?
Discussion
I went from Griff to Cerb to Tamora and am now in a T350C. The Tamora is fantastic on the circuit and the T350C is slightly better than that due to having different suspension parts and adjustable dampers.
As for track use, I have quite a bit of experience and your Tamora shouldn't be "skittish" if it is get it looked at, it should be magnificent on the track and have similar characteristics to a Lotus Elise, only with a lot more power.
Enjoy...

Well what the hell do you two know? I sat in a 350c at TMS and it felt rock solid and......sozz, being childish
Flasher took me for a serious blatt in his Tamora and at one stage we were duelling with a jap crotch rocket, there is no way the car ever felt skittish and I can't think of anything in that price bracket that could deliver that performance with such stable handling, so, yeah get the geometry checked

Whoa!!!!!!!!!!!!!
didn't want to start a Skittish war!
my griff's had alot of time(and money) spent, to get it handle as well as it does, and it started as a good'un. spent more time in the Tamora today and feels great. i guess that what i took as skittishness was ruts in the M5 (they are bad in places) and i do think that the 18"spiders are having an effect. it does feel more liable to tramline than my griff. don't want to "upgrade" only to find i have more development work to do.
BIG step forward in refinement and build quality.
not sure it has the grunt that mine does, but it certainly has the power!
BIG improvement in driveability. potters around town like a diesel (low revs / high power!) NO shunting! I tried...couldn't get it to do it!
sounds good...different to the griff (not as good)
so is it the new motor? not sure. if i didn't have a griff already i'd definately have one, but is it more griff than the griff?
Its a great car, love the looks. its different, modern (my griff's a "classic looker") and gets the looks like my griff used to!
can't tell yet...
JUST HAVE TO DO MORE MILES

T350 does not handle like an Elise, its good but has nothing at all like the preciseness of an Elise.
What it does have though is a shed load of torque and the ability to powerslide everwhere.
Its way more controlable than a Griff mind

Your'e entitled to your opinion Ben, and maybe yours is set up different to mine, but mine doesn't drift or powerslide an inch. My Tamora did but my T350 is different altogether.
I'm somewhat perplexed by your opinion of the Elise, Yes it's a fine car with pin sharp handling, but there were several at Donnington last year and none got anywhere near the Tamora. I followed you in Wales when you had an Elise and contrary to what you believe I spent most of the time hitting the brakes and backing off trying not to drive into the back of you. You got away from me at one point because the Elise lacks the grunt to get past slower cars quickly and consequently I was getting stuck behind stuff waiting for you to get past.
I'm not knocking the Elise, it's a brilliant car, but it's not a patch on the Tamora, let alone the T350C, and if you think it's better I don't understand why you bought a T350C and sold the Elise...
I don't believe there is a circuit in this country where the Elise would beat the T350C, and I managed to keep the Gugliemi 190 Elise behind me at Bruntingthorpe the other week for a whole lap, and he was on slicks and had a huge handling package fitted aswell as having a superior driver on board and the fact that I was only using 6,000 revs....
But hey, who cares?
