Refurbished Wheels

Just had refurbished wheels fitted to my car at PX Wheels in Blackpool.

Cracking service, good knowledge and he also has a good stock of new and almost new part worn tyres for TVRs.

Part worn tyres? Are these off crashed cars or what? Can't imagine why anyone would buy those for their high performance car unless they knew the source.

Am sure the tyres are fine. I let him keep an almost new tyre from one of my wheels that I part - ex'd as I hadnt bothered taking it off. The tyre was a tuscan size and so no good for my Cerb. Was happy for him to keep and sell on. Am sure many of his tyres come from the same sort of source.

For info, if anyone needs a decent alloy refurbisher in the south east I can highly recomend Lepsons of Gillingham in Kent.

I have just had my Chimaera wheels refurbed by them and they done a fantastic job, they will do any colour you require, I had an antracite finish this time. I used them before for T5 R wheels previously some 5 years ago and I can say the standard has not changed, they wone a great job then (these were anthracite in colour too).

They do offer a collect and delivery service too even into Essex and offer diamond cutting if required for a little more should you require a wheel with this finish.

I'll second a vote for Lepsons - just had my BMW wheels down there as they were a but shabby and they did a superb job.

They have a good set up and do 500 wheels a week apparently!! What is everyone doing to theirs?

You forgot to say how much Gazza
