If you want my honest opinion Simon, I really like the lights but am not so keen on the grill. Doesn't seem to suit it in my eyes. Perhaps with a full size front plate it would look better...

I really like the lights... very smart... but think I'd have kept the spots and the grille as it was...

Oh yeah! Didn't notice that the spots had gone! Doh! No wonder it looks a bit strange....

Hmm, when I first saw it I did not like it, however over the course of the morning it has grown on me. The grill gives it a sort of 50's feel..

I've just gone for the light conversion too but opted to keep the original grille & driving lights . . . it's strokes for folks I guess but I think it looks the biz. Cosmetics aside, it's great to be able to see where you're going at last!

I fitted (with help) mod-wises's brighter light kit, consisting of fatter cables and brighter bulbs. Result: I can now drive at night too! It's virtually as good as my 15 year old Golf now!!!

Nice 1 piece surround on the Grill, who did it and what sort of cost. A full 1 piece surround on a Pre-Face lift Chimaera would look good.

I have a light conversion and wanted to have "brightness" so i opted for keeping the mouth spots. The trouble is they then looked too big, so i fitted the same size ones(90mm) and filled up the gap around them with a "Hoover" belt. Dont forget that you have to rewire though, the cable isn't exactly over rated to start with!
