03-plate, T350C, 11k miles.

When braking from speeds above 60pmh, as the car slows down through 50, 40, 30, there's a rubbing/vibrating/almost grinding-like noise which I think is coming from the brakes.

If braking from much higher speeds, the noise is more pronounced, but the car does stop, and if I stamp on them, they bite lots of mph off.

Pads, discs all look ok, but what can it be? Could they be warped or something?

Sorry I can't describe it better, bit of a muppet mechanially I'm afraid

Depends how bad it is.
Hard to tell without hearing it.
But they all sound/feel a bit rough. But only a bit. Mine do, and nothing wrong with them.
I'm technically useless as well, but I assume it's something to do with the drilled disks.

Difficult to describe but it sounds familiar. Nothing to worry about i was told by the specialist - its the drilled discs.

If you have grooved and or cross drilled discs you will get this on heavy braking.
