i don't mean to blind anyone with technical jargon, but what is the little alloy knobbly bit to be found on top of the transmission tunnel in the cockpist of a fair few modern TVRs close to the hand-brake and shifter?

i've been puzzling over it for a while and the best i've come up with is a brake-balance adjuster, but i don't think its that.

regards,
the (ignorant) lad.

It'll be the mechanism for opening the doors in a Chimaera that you're thinking of I reckon.

Excellent for impressing non-petrolheads
