BlueThunder says it can be replaced by a mountain bike cable. Must be a cycle shop nearby?

Don't know if the Cerbera is the same, but on the V8S the cable run is such that it's possible to shorten the outer by six inches or so without straining anything. When the throttle cable breaks it's always at the end (usually the pedal end) on the S, so it can be repaired by cutting the outer back six inches and using a screw-on cable nipple to secure the inner. Twenty minute job with a junior hacksaw. If you're chucking the cable away anyway, you don't have much to loose.
All back safe, thanks to all for your replies and texts, messages. great time, lots of laps car was playing up at low revs, but once out all ok, new pads in so lots of brake dust, gf loved it, and the crowds cheered at the noise of the car, over-taking some exotics, and some cup cars gt3rs's but at the ring its more about your limits than proving times. i was banned twice for noise levels, so boys watch the popping and banging when you go out and come in, they don't like it. i had a marshall friend of mine come out in the car who has instructed there, to improve my lines and pace around the track. one thing i would say afterthe 4 days, keep the braking and coming off the accelerator smooth, the cerbera gets very unsettled and the ring does not forgive, i was sideways on some corners where i had come off to quick, and screams from the passenger side was high.

yeah, was not hanging around, the Carrousel doesn't look that banked in that photo, but trust me its enough to have that 18 inch wheel disappear, little bit of rubbing under the arches, but nothing to be concerned, took the front splitter off though.
re the cable, i took out ADAC cover, got it loaded on a truck down to their depo, i then went through a load of weird cables they had out the back and ended up stripping one down by several threads just to be able to thread it through the outer which i had left in... i used some pliers to push it through cm by cm, finally it came through, i then found an electrical connector (ones you do you home DIY with) stripped the plastic coating, and used this to crimp the end at the pedal. i got one guy to pull it fully open in the engine bay while i was upside down in the footwell, few cuts and very sore fingers - i was off, actually the throttle response was better than the original. i checked it after each lap, much to the delight of the car park, swarms of crowds came round to point!
F*ck me, look a the lean on that
Glad to har you got back ok. Who got you the cable in the end?
