Im currently having to move house and I am having to consider losing my garage that I have at the moment.
I would have a drive to keep the Griff on, but am concerned about leaving the car out in sight and exposed to the elements.
I imagine there must be others in the same situation - do you keep you cars covered - can anyone recommend good covers, etc etc

My chim lives outside and is used regularly (daily, at the moment, in Edinburgh). It was fine over xmas, and complained not a jot when it snowed.
I only bought it in December, but the previous owner didn't have a garage, either, as far as I know. The only possible difficulty is finding somewhere dry to put it when it needs some fabsil action.
Oh, and I've not got a cover. Or an electrically-heated blanket :-)

i keep my griff outside and use it maybe twice a week and no problems. had a roof cover when i had a slight leak, but reproofed roof and it is fine. bit lumpy for a few minutes at startup in coldest winter but fine other than that.
remember these are cars and need to be driven not left in garge for weeks on end

My ex-neighbour used to keep his Chimaera outside, but didn't use it very much.
It was always very upsetting for me to see it sitting there when I left the house and had to get into my 'normal' car.
All I'm saying, is have some sympathy for your neighbours' anguish if you're not using the car every day!

Same here - my Chim also lives outside in Edinburgh - has done from new (2.5 years ago).

Has always started, doesn't leak, etc etc.
If you are going to use a cover, make sure your car is immaculate, as any wind will turn the paintwork to a nice matt finish if there is any dust on it. Also make sure the car is dry before putting it on, as the cover trap moisture & add to your problems...
