Been talking to a few pwople with a vested interest in getting more power and torque from my 2.9EFI engine. Some suggest starting with the exhaust, I am in the west country, anyone know of a good place to go? Does it have to be custom made?

Are there any quick fixes to the power increase prob?

Also my springs are looking a bit tired, any suggestions?

I second that. Pick my Tamora up this morning from Dulfords. I had 4.0L Red Rose Engine Upgrade and Nitron Shocks fitted.

Dulfords is next door to TVRCarParts.

Have a word with Joolz (posted above) of www.track-car-solutions.co.uk he could sort you out with everything you have mentioned, and a great guy too, you couldn't ask more.

I looked at the same thing when I had the 2,9 EFI, but it is apretty expensive thing to do. The cheapest thing you could do is to change the heads to modified ones, or fit an aftermarket ECU so you can remap. Ideally you could fit remappable ignition and fueling. But all of these are quite expensive.

I would go with the following?

New Air Filter
New Exhaust
Mapped ignition
Ported and flowed heads with bigger valves
Mapped Ignition
Lighntened and balanced internals
Hotter Cam

Really that's about it. There is no real "qucik fix" I caved in a just bought a faster car.
