You know that squiggy ball that blows the lumbar support up, can you fix them if they are broken?? i.e. doesn't inflate anymore. Is it worth doing or can I just buy a new one from somewhere ??

looks very similar to the pump off a manual sphygmanometer (blood pressure machine) try a medical supplies shop you might be surprised at the prices:

www.medisave.co.uk/blood-pressure-monitors-sphygmomanometer-c-50_58.html

eg 15 quid (and bin the cuff)

may not be identical but should work just as well

My Tuscan had the same issue and needed replacing in the end - new bag/seat back off and refit done at dealers. Cannot remember cost, but not a lot for the parts.

Where in the SE are you? I have several spares as I get given them by drug companies. Happy to let you have one.

Do the "drug companies" see you as that good a customer then?

I'm in sunny Worthing, the bag in the seat is OK, it just appears to be the valve that doesn't always operate correctly. Not too sure if they're suppose to come to pieces but as I'm a bloke I could always try and fix it..........

Not sure but they look very similar to the ford item used on high end scorpio models before the bug eye version.Which probably where they came from.

Ahem, I guess so. I have a reputation for robbing drug reps of all their freebies! Some of them are even slightly useful.
