Hello all

Advice / Recommendations needed

I want to get the set up and handling sorted on my griff as it is a 1993 model and needs a little tlc !!

Looking for the usual shocks, U J's, bushes , Arb's etc to improve the handling as much as possible this year with a view to the tvr power supercharger at the end of the year.

I am based in central scotland so really would like someone who will give me a good level of service and advice hopefully without having to drive down south !!!! although the sun is shining today and it is tempting.

I am struggling to find someone so any pointers much appreciated

Thanks all

Ty

I think its just a case of getting everything mail order and getting the stuff fitted up here Ty. Ask the guys at the next monthly meet at your place for details.

Dreadnought have a laser setup for suspension so would probably be best.

Billy.

Torque RVT (middlewich) and suspension guru Derek (The gazman) has a brand new bluetooth geometry machine which looks the dogs dandlies - which can sort your geometry at the same time as having the suspension fettled/replaced.

They transformed my cerbie and the first comment from my missus was wow what have they done to the car it just feels absolutely brilliant, give them a call on 01606 831244 you won't be dissapointed.

Hello Ty Ive got a 93 pre serp Griff as well looks the same colour too but mines got a grey interior . Anyways ive just bought a set of Protech shocks from trackcar solutions i havnt had them fitted yet but when i do i will let you know what they are like . I also have some rose jointed drop links to fit in place of the original anti roll bar links . But to be honest anything would be an improvement on the Bilsteins i have on at the minute (very tired after 53000 miles )

Hi Guys

Thanks for the advice

Am still awaiting ( 14 Days ) for a reply from Torque RVT as wanted to use them via derek at absolutely shox as he has been very helpful ! I am sure they are just busy as they are highly recommended by all.

He has just recommended someone else at Track V road in clitheroe and after speaking to them they have been great thus far and returned a quote and price within 6 hours !!!! They also phoned to discuss the requests and made a few suggestions i hadnt thought of so i think i will go with them as i feel happy with the service so far which is half the battle !

Thanks Billy will pick everyones brains at the start of May !

Ty

Have you not considered SSCC in Borobridge, not as far for you and they seem to know their stuff?

Thanks for the suggestion

Bought the car from them five years ago and cost me thousands as crank was bent

V8 devs sorted it out the day before i went to spain

Probably an isolated incident but not for meeeeeee

How queer I never bought my car from them but my car suffered a bent crank as well. Don't think you can blame them though
