shout ROLL UP, ROLL UP........

A few of us (well 3 definites and 2 probables so far) have booked for the Novice Track Evening as per the title. Cost is £99 (plus helmet hire, instructor tuition, passenger rides etc if needed/wanted) so am throwing the net wider to see if we can drum up more TVR interest.

www.motorsportvision.co.uk/brands-hatch/trackdays/event-details.asp?ProductID=3340

Seems like a perfectly acceptable way to spend 3 hours on a summer's eve

I havent been on many track days but I did a Novice evening last year and you are relatively free from the track special loonies and gives you half a chance on getting a perfect(ish) lap without some track prepared Pug 205 climbing all over your rear bumper.

Whislt there is, I believe, a sound limit at Brands, last year they left the sound meter locked away somewhere , but obviously the usual disclaimer applies and I take no responsibility on this (or any other) point.

So, in the usual PH way (rolleyes), lets have a show of hands and make a list hehe

Track Driving Gods who are definites:

1) FUBAR
2) Touching Cloth (well, his passenger will be yikes)
3) BlueThunder (said AYE but hasnt booked yet?)
4)

Thinking about it (um err scratchchin etc hehe):

1) Arebrec (c'mon girls, lezza be having you hehe
2) Mad Mark
3) byker28i

Good work guys thumbup

Oh, and I'll be bringing my ACT track day silencers to *share in case Fun Police officer im gets his knickers in a twist hehe

*As TC found to his partial cost at the 'Ring, the silencers only fit standard road and sports exhaust, not the 'Im a wide boy' variety

I would put in a good word for you Nick but I've probably f@cked-up their salaries/bonus at some point in the past so my names (likely) mud with the tracksiders. hehe

Still, thanks to you I can get back on their good-side by pointing out that they should check they have the meters out this time...."Cos I have heard that occassionally we forget"...

rofl rofl rofl

Of course, for a resonable gratuity, I could er...misplace...the meters myself...

Okay I'll come. You could always use my house as a meeting point if need be. Very close and enough parking for quite a few Cerbs, and I'm sure I can work a kettle if needed.

Excellent Julian, be good to finally meet
Get booking type

Kind offer re: your house, but I'll be coming straight from Brighton/work so will have to save the socialising until trackside
