Hi I'm helping a friend out and selling a load of parts from a project, and amongst them is a very low lileage since rebuild ajp v8 out of his cerbera. The engine has full service history and is simply removed due to a different engine being used, where is the best place to sell it?

Thanks Oliver.

either e-bay it and/or stick it in the classifieds here under parts/tvr parts/engine

Well were pretty much open to offers, at the moment we have no idea what it is worth!

I'll get a classifieds ad written up in the next couple of days.

Prices unfortunately are at an all time low for cerbie engines .. not helped of course by people taking perfectly good engines out and transplanting something entirely different ironically enough .. paints a poor picture for the ajp8 I know one guy who recently bought a complete excellent low mileage 4.2 engine with all manifolds and ancilliaries, bellhousing, gearbox out of a crashed cerbie for 1600 pounds, and another guy who's bought a complete running sp6 engine / bellhousing / box for 900 pounds .. yes 900 pounds! It's enough to make you cry.

The engine is currently in east yorkshire, between hornsea and hull.

It's a smashing engine and genuinely had no issues prior to removal unlike a lot of them.
